Dr.-Ing. Xiaodong Cao

Xiaodong Cao was born in Shanghai, China in 1984. He studied mechanical engineering at the Clausthal Universitiy of Technology (Germany) and received his Dipl.-Ing. degree in 2012.
In 2012 he joined the center of competence (vibration and acoustics) of Bosch Rexroth AG in Lohr am Main (Germany), where he engaged in structure-borne sound transmission in hydraulic machines.
Since October 2015 he is working at the Institute of Electrical Information Technology in the Clausthal University of Technology. His main research activity is the analysis of vibrations in operating systems with simulations and laser-Doppler vibrometry.
